  Thomas came to our house and gave us a price for interior painting. No business card was given by him. A price was agreed upon and Thomas had told us he would bring his own rollers and we would purchase the paint. We even agree to give him $15 a day extra for gas. Thomas then calls us the next day, and says that the price we agreed upon was too low and his supervisor is saying we need to increase the price. He also says he needs to purchase brushes and he needs more money for gas. We, the customers, say ok and increase the agreed upon price by almost $200 to cover his brushes and gasoline expense. Thomas brings two friends to our house the first day, and we give him 50% of the payment. The 3 painters do not tape our house, as would be expected so that the trim and baseboards don't get paint on them. We let that slide. They drop paint on our carpets and wood floors, we let that slide. They don't completely finish one room. They paint parts of one area and move onto the next area without completing their original area. The second day arrives, and two people show up to our house. One is the original Thomas person, and the other is one of his friends from the previous day. They say they will work the whole day until 7 pm but end up leaving after a few hours around 5 pm because he is getting lightheaded. We again, let that go and pay him some more money, and now he has been paid for 72% of the agreed upon price, even though only about 35% of the work has been completed. When the third day rolls around, we are told that the painters will be at our house by noon, but they don't show up until 1 pm. We let that go, and purchase more paint and supplies. Thomas also promised to bring a ladder and he did not so we let him use our ladder. We also let him use 2 new paint liners, which again, we were told he would supply. During the end of the third day, he tells us he can't finish 2 rooms, which we say is not a problem and we will deduct that price from the final payment. That's when he gets angry and says that we now owe him MORE money. We say we will not pay extra, we will pay to what the agreed upon terms were. The situation goes downhill from there and we are very sad and disappointed that we were treated this way by Thomas. We ask him to leave and deduct the money for the two rooms which he did not start, and even paid him for work that was started but not finished. We already agreed upon a certain amount, and we were willing to pay more before he even began working at our house. We felt All Quality Painting tried to take advantage of us even though we gave them all of the supplies, gas money, and even extra money, so that they would do a decent job at our house. We are now left with a messy home. We have paint on our carpets, hardwood floors, trims, baseboards, and blinds. We have furniture left in the middle of bedrooms that we now have to lift ourselves. We also have to finish painting and we are out hundreds of dollars for poor quality work. This was a very disappointing experience and we will not recommend All Quality Painting to anyone.
